Hello.
Does anyone know of a program that will allow me to type in a string of letters and numbers and generate a morse code version of that text? Mp3 or wav formats are desired. To make a long story short, what I want to do is set up customized ring tones for my phone with each contacts' name spelled out in code. This is because my phone only announces who is calling once, and I don't feel like making musical rings tones for each contact. Besides, that would take up a lot more room than the person's name hammered out in Morse Code at 30 wpm.

Thanks for any help,
Scott

There's some program on
www.x-sight-interactive.net
under the other websites out there. I have not used this program.

That is a cool idea. I could pretty easily write one in Java, and it would be even better if I wrote it for Android so that the phone would read the caller ID repeatedly in Morse code as a ring. I'm not sure exactly how to do the Android programming yet.

I wish I was that good at java. Right now, I just do a lot of math stuff.
